Grass Seed or Sod?

Sod is easy, gee whiz, a schmegegge can do it.

In the city, we install more sod than we sow grass seed. Sod will be very difficult to maintain if you live in Philly and you have an active life. It will get weeds, it will die in patches, it may not look that great over time.

Grass seed sprinkled on fluffy soil is another option, but grass seed takes 2-4 weeks to see results, BUT is less psychologically stressful, and it's cheaper to try out.

Both will be difficult to keep looking good over time, that is from evidence from our past clients who call us back to remove the turf and try another solution.
