Minimalist landscape design helps promote calmness and mindfulness. Yes, it does. Not that cozy, cluttered landscapes are bad, it's just that minimal landscapes are a great juxtaposition to your already-cluttered life. Am I right?

Repetition and unity are some of the key tenets of minimalism (I think). You can bring your mind to a chill landscape, and have an open pallet when looking at it, so using your cognitive skills, only, to process the space.

Consider native plants to your area like grasses, flowers, and trees. Natural stone promotes chillness, and maybe building an art piece out of cedar or cypress wood, that can help, too.

Keep it simple and read those plant tags!!
